Casey Comer has over 14 years of experience in environmental leadership, remediation, emergency spill response and waste management in both business and the U.S Coast Guard. His formal education is from Oregon State University's with a B.S. in Environmental Economics & Policy and US Coast Guard Marine Science Technician School.
Casey is a proven environmental business professional with experience in the Emergency Response, Environmental Services, Remediation and Waste Disposal industry. Industry experience includes business development, environmental protection and response, project management, program management, health & safety, process improvement, cost accounting, resource management, damage claims, inter-agency coordination, Response Policy (NCP/RRT), Natural Resource Damage Assessment process, market/non-market valuation, P/L responsibility, team development and leadership.
Casey has been highly praised for his management and safety record for small to large scale projects from the local to national level, including many high-profile federal projects, utilizing his training in ESA, OSHA, NEPA, CWA, OPA-90, CERCLA, SARA, DOT and RCRA regulatory compliance, with a demonstrated record of merging standing procedures with newer, more efficient techniques and tools for increased productivity and optimization, as well as experience utilizing Lean/Six Sigma techniques.
